Prednisolone and Pregnant
Yesterday, I went to the hospital in Thailand to take the blood test and liver function test. I told the nurse that I took prednisolone for three months and I was suggested to take medical checkup by the doctor to see the side effects of the medication. Then, the nurse took me to one of the departments without asking me anything and checked my blood pressure, measured my abdomen, height, weight, etc. Still, I thought that -- good service, good English speaking! The nurse asked me "how many months?" I said "three months already". She asked me again "when was your last menstrual period?"
Oh no! They thought that I was pregnant! The word "prednisolone" makes me "pregnant". The only word they could catch up from my conversation is "preg". I had to explained them a bit longer about the differences between prednisolone and pregnant by using body language. Finally, everything was okay. Phew!

We didn't start the FIRE!
ငယ္စဥ္ခါ နားေထာင္ခဲ့စဥ္တုန္းက ဘာကိုဆုိလုိမွန္းေသခ်ာနားမလည္ခဲ့တဲ့ သီခ်င္းတစ္ပုဒ္ပါ။ အခုျပန္လည္နားေထာင္ၾကည့္ေတာ့ စာသားက အေတာ္မုိက္တာပဲ။ အျဖစ္အပ်က္ေတြကို မွတ္သားရလြယ္တဲ့ သီခ်င္းတစ္ပုဒ္ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
